9 Day Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat
Safe, Guided Healing Ceremonies
Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat
A retreat at the Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat offers participants the opportunity to engage with traditional plant-spirit practices guided by a highly skilled and experienced curandero. Our curandero, Manain, brings more than 45 years of experience and has collaborated with our team for over seven years. Many participants describe ayahuasca as a teacher that supports personal insight, emotional release, and energetic cleansing.
Each individual’s experience is unique. One of the profound aspects often associated with ayahuasca work is the way the process adapts to the needs of each participant. Many people feel that the medicine guides them through a personalized journey, helping them explore patterns, beliefs, and emotional blocks. The key is approaching the experience with openness trusting the process and allowing the journey to unfold naturally.
Our retreats offer an immersive space for deep personal exploration. Participants often find that this work brings old patterns to the surface, allowing space for new perspectives and healthier ways of relating to themselves and the world around them. Many report a renewed sense of clarity, authenticity, and emotional well-being.
Founded in 2010, the Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat was built with guidance from respected Amazonian practitioners. Since then, we have continued to honor traditional practices while integrating modern understandings of consciousness, mindset, and personal development. This blend of tradition and contemporary insight offers a well-rounded approach that many participants find meaningful and effective.
In addition to ayahuasca ceremonies, each retreat also includes at least one ceremony with San Pedro (Huachuma), the visionary cactus of the Andes. Often described as a gentle yet powerful heart-opening plant, Huachuma is considered a complementary counterpart to ayahuasca, offering a different perspective and depth to the retreat experience.
At the Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat, our highest priorities are safety, support, and an environment conducive to personal and spiritual growth. Retreats are structured with a balance of ceremony time, integration activities, reflection, and rest, helping participants prepare for each step of the journey with clarity and intention.

Pre Retreat Integration Sessions
Integration is a vital part of any journey of personal growth and transformation. To support you in getting the most from your work with these plant traditions, the Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat includes a pre-retreat integration session designed to help you prepare, clarify your intentions, and set the foundation for meaningful change. These sessions are offered by Darlene Joy of Woman of the Medicines, a clairvoyant and empath with extensive experience in both ayahuasca and huachuma, as well as a respected intuitive healer. The best Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat for healing.
At its heart, integration involves practicing new perspectives and behaviors until they become your natural, day-to-day responses to life’s challenges and experiences. Over time, these new patterns become woven into how you think, feel, and move through the world.
Integration matters for a simple reason: meaningful change requires internal shifts. If we want life to look and feel different, something within us needs to evolve. Integration reflects this inner movement whether it’s a subtle shift in emotional reactions or a more visible commitment, like showing up for regular self-care. What matters is that we begin engaging with life in a clearer, more intentional, and more empowered way.
This process ideally begins before your retreat, as you refine your intentions and strengthen your commitment to your own growth. Deepening self-awareness and cultivating mindfulness are key aspects of this preparation. Learning to consciously direct your thoughts and emotions becomes an essential skill in shaping the life you want to live.
You Will Get a Guided Retreat Experience Focused on Healing
Throughout your retreat, our experienced facilitators are available to help you explore and understand your journeys while supporting you in integrating what you learn. They offer guidance and coaching on navigating the process, always recognizing that each person’s path is unique and unfolds in its own way. The best Vancouver Ayahuasca Retreat for your healing
Our intention is to support meaningful personal growth. You’ll be encouraged to gently step outside your comfort zone, explore new perspectives, and develop more constructive patterns of thinking and behavior in relation to yourself and those around you.
During your program, we encourage you to slow down and relax. Quiet moments of reflection play an important role in processing your experiences with ayahuasca. Journaling, creative expression, and art are highly recommended as tools for integration, and all necessary materials are provided.
On the mornings following ayahuasca ceremonies, we hold group circles where you can share your experience with the shaman and facilitators and ask questions. These conversations offer an opportunity to gain deeper insight into your journey and better understand the diversity of experiences people can have.
Through hearing others share their stories, you’ll develop an appreciation for the wide range of ways in which ayahuasca work can unfold. These sessions encourage you to honor your own process expressing it authentically, without comparing it to anyone else’s experience.
